ABOUT JENNY APPLEGATE
I am a certified personal stylist and image consultant who has the experience, expertise and passion to help men and women discover their unique personal style that fits all aspects of their life. My mission is to help you develop a wardrobe that is accessible, appropriate and, most of all, authentic to you and your lifestyle — regardless of your age, body type, profession or budget.

My Experience
My education includes degrees in Fashion Marketing from Parsons School of Design and Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University, as well as a certification in Image Consulting from the Fashion Institute of Technology. I hold certifications in Color Analysis and Menswear Styling from the Image Resource Center of New York, and Menswear Styling and Personal Styling from the School of Style.

My Expertise
At Parsons, I had the opportunity to explore textiles, deconstruct garment elements, study tailoring and delve into fashion history. This full fashion immersion led me to an apprenticeship with Stacy London of TLC’s What Not to Wear, a rewarding three-year journey that led to a certification in Personal Styling for Style for Hire and further ignited my lifelong love affair with fashion.
My career trajectory also incorporates my background in business, including top roles in corporate marketing for several international companies, overseeing brand launches and developing partnerships with such high-profile outlets as DreamWorks, The Weather Channel, NBC Universal, The Ellen Show, the NFL and the NBA. I draw equally from these unique aspects of my background to help navigate the intricacies of dressing for a wide range of professional settings so that you feel comfortable and confident whether you’re running a company-wide meeting, attending an industry networking event or enjoying a dinner date out on the town.

My Passion
I deeply believe in fashion’s role in discovering and celebrating personal style and its ability to unite us as a community. I am the co-founder of Project Style, a nonprofit organization that is working to educate at-risk youth on the connection between self-esteem and the way we dress. I also sit on the Board of Directors for Fashion Group International’s Chicago chapter and am a member of Association of Image Consultants International.
